Roelofsen is well known in the international horse industry as a builder and supplier of horse transport solutions. From the basic transport of two horses to luxurious trucks for multiple horses, and for every branch of the sport. Our knowledge of the equestrian world ensures our horse trucks meet all requirements of the rider and horse. Jonny Roelofsen founded Carosseriebouw Roelofsen Raalte (‘Bodywork Builder Roelofsen Raalte’) in 1986. After more than 20 years, Roelofsen has become the largest maker of horse trucks in the Netherlands and the business employs 60 skilled professionals.

Our customers include jumpers, dressage riders, trade stables, stud farms, as well as disciplines such as drive, western riding, eventing and recreation. Customers from the Netherlands, Europe and other parts of the world (America, Mexico etc) are using Roelofsen to meet their needs.

Roelofsen also custom-builds transport solutions for other target groups. This includes the world of motorcycle racing, which has discovered Roelofsen. In the Specials section [internal link] you will find a number of examples of tailor-made transport solutions developed by Roelofsen.
